For sure the biggest Island here around…. and I love so much. So also this year I have decided to go there with my equipment.
But this time I had more time to spend on this nice Island…! It is quite easy to reach this Island, there is every day a boat, running in and out with serveral timing during the day. The most important things it is to plan some “shadow”, the Island is VEEEEEEEEEERY HOT as is an enormous rock !
As I know the Island quite well, I have located a perfect and shadowed place, quite enough to setup the antenna withou too many tourists walking… there is space enough also to put my radio bag, right under some big trees…
During my operations, my family enjoy the wonderful beach, with crystal water and lot of fish swimming here and there… and at 1.00 PM the rendez vous for everybody is at “Re di Tavolara” restaurant, an amazing place where you can taste very good fishfood Sardinian Style.
In the afternoon I made some QSO’s again, and then I joined my family in the beach… and we wait all together the sunset a coupl eof hours later, to enjoy the fantastic colors of this Paradise Corner.
